9:15~9:30　Arrival
9:30~ Worship&Welcome Time. Everyone sits together　

Depending on the daily weather and circumstances, we will choose among the following activities that are marked by stars.

☆ Art Project　/　Kids love to make arts and crafts！　We will also be joining the Arts&Craft Day at CAJ.

☆ Reading Time　/　Twice a month, we will also be going to Story Time at CAJ.

☆ Large & Small Muscle Activities　/　It's fun to play outside! Let's play some games with our teachers.

☆ Music & Finger Plays　/　We will learn songs and finger plays from American Sunday schools.

☆ Quiet&Free Time　/　Kid's need some quiet time too. They can individually choose to do something at one of the work stations. Kids who are tired or sleepy can take a nap too!

☆ Show & Tell　/　It's time to show your friends something you like!

☆ Brown Bag Sermon　/　Let's put something secret into a brown bag! Then let your teacher open the bag and make a Bible lesson with your secret thing!

☆ Memory Verses/ Let's challenge ourselves to learn Bible verses!
The Northmar Alliance Sunday school in America is learning the same verses from the Memory Verse Calendar.

☆ Kids Church　/　Once a week, a pastor will come to teach us!

☆ Snack & Lunch　/　At lunch time, we will give thanks to God through songs and prayer.
We hope everyone becomes more thankful to those who grow and prepare our food too!

1:15~　 Worship& Good-bye Time / This is the afternoon group time.
Let's prepare for another good day tomorrow.

1:30~2:00 Pick up (Let's make sure that we are all safe and ready for pick-up by 2:00)

The activities that are hi-lighted in orange will be performed by English speaking people who are not regular staff at Sonshine Kids.

Sonshine Kids will receive educational support from　aｎ International School which is only 3min.away from us. Children at Sonshine Kids will not only be learning from regular and invited helpers, but will also be in regular contact with people at the International School.

Library: The staff of Sonshine Kids will be able to borrow books from the International Shool and SSS (School Support Services) libraries. The library at Honeybee is small, but from the thousands of books in the shool and SSS libraries, we believe we will be able to choose great books for kids!

At Sonshine Kids, we desire that parents will be able to understand what their children are learning.
To make this possible, we would like to offer several programs.

☆ Mom's English & Bible time / A time to learn the meaning behind Bible lessons and songs that are taught. This will be taught by an English speaker, and the lesson will also explain memory verses. We plan to offer these sessions 2-3 times a month.

☆ Scholastic Book Club/ Honeybee. Scholastic books will be available at a discount.
This is especially great for your read-at-home project! (Books with CDs are available for parents who have difficulty reading in English to children)

☆ Classroom Visitation / Book Reading. On these days, parents can come as assistants and visit with us.

☆ Making Kid's Portfolio / Report cards and grades will not be given at Sonshine Kids, but we can put together a portfolio that shows the progress of children.

☆ Events/ Events and parties that are planned at Honeybee can be attended at the same cost as people in Honeybee English.

For the safety of the children at Sonshine Kids, a dress code is required.
Please have children wear clothing that is easy to put on/take off by themselves.
Skirts and dresses are not allowed. When children go outside, the Sonshine Kids Safety green t-shirts or Sonshine Kids sweatshirts will be worn. Please have children wear shoes that are easy to move with and are of the proper size.

Packed lunches and snacks must be provided.

●Spring Starters/ Maximum enrollment will be set at of 12 children.

＊ An interview is needed before admittance (not required of students of Honeybee English)
＊ At the time of registration, please bring registration paperwork, as well as Entrance fees, Material fees, Facility and Insurance fees.

＊ As to the costs of Material and Facility fees for Head Starters, please contact staff.

Through the years, we have taught and cared for many children and babies at Sunday schools, Children's Bible camps,babysitting, and of course children's English classes. We love teaching kids, and at Honeybee English, we are known as Uncle Nathan and Mokoba. We also have two daughters of our own, age 2 and 6.
